Hosting and server log files

When you access the website, the web server processes technical connection data, in particular the IP address, date and time, requested address, response status, amount of data transferred, referrer and browser or device information. This is necessary to deliver the website, ensure stable operation and detect attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log data is deleted when it is no longer required for these purposes, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

We use technical service providers for hosting, maintenance and email delivery. They receive data only to the extent required to provide their services and are contractually bound where required.

Contact and forms

If you contact us by email or through a contact form, we process the information you submit to answer your request. Depending on the nature of the request, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual or pre-contractual matters or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for other enquiries. We delete the data once the request has been completed and no retention obligation or other legal reason requires further storage.

Registrations for club events and youth activities are processed to organise and carry out the selected event. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Where health information such as allergies is voluntarily requested for safe participation, it is processed on the basis of your explicit consent under Article 9(2)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future.

Cloudflare Turnstile

Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish human entries from automated abuse. Cloudflare may process technical information about the device, browser, IP address and interaction with the form. We use the service to protect the website and our communication systems against spam and attacks on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Any storage or access on your device that is strictly necessary for this security function is based on Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG. Provider information is available in Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Newsletters with CleverReach

We use CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG, Mühlenstraße 43, 26180 Rastede, Germany, to manage and send our newsletters. When you submit a newsletter form, the entered data is transferred to CleverReach. Subscription is based on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and is normally confirmed through a double opt-in email. You can withdraw your consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in the newsletter or by contacting us. Further information is available in the CleverReach privacy policy.

Course booking with Capablz

We use the booking system provided by Kursfreunde GmbH (Capablz) for swimming courses. The booking area is not loaded until you select “Load booking”. At that point, your browser connects to Capablz and technical connection data is transmitted. If you make a booking, Capablz processes the information required for registration, payment and fulfilment of the course contract. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Further information is available in the Capablz privacy policy.

Membership administration with easyVerein

Membership applications and the members' login are provided through easyVerein, a service of SD Software-Design GmbH. When an embedded easyVerein area is opened, your browser establishes a connection to easyVerein. Data entered in a membership application or the members' area is processed for membership administration and performance of the membership relationship on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Details are available in the provider's privacy policy.

Cookies and privacy settings

We use the strictly necessary cookie scw_cookie_consent to store your privacy selection for 180 days. This is required to provide the settings you requested and is based on Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

You can review, change or withdraw your selection at any time using Cookie settings. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

Google Analytics

If web analytics is configured for this website and you consent to the “Website analytics” category, we use Google Analytics, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The Google tag is not loaded and no analytics data is sent before consent is granted.

Google Analytics processes information about page views, the approximate location, referrer, browser and device to help us understand and improve use of the website. The cookies _ga and _ga_* can be stored for up to two years. Processing and access to your device are based on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG. Data may also be processed by Google group companies or service providers outside the European Economic Area. Further information is available in Google's privacy policy.

Retention

Unless a specific period is stated above, we retain personal data only for as long as it is needed for the relevant purpose. Statutory documentation and retention obligations remain unaffected. Data required to establish, exercise or defend legal claims may be retained for the applicable limitation period.

Your rights

Subject to the statutory conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The supervisory authority responsible for non-public bodies in Bavaria is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA).

This website uses TLS encryption. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. We update this privacy policy when services, processing activities or legal requirements change.
